The current economy coupled with concerns for our environment makes consignment the RESPONSIBLE choice! What better way to clothe your children then to sell their gently used, outgrown clothes to pay for their new clothes... at a fraction of the retail price.
Our Consignment Policy
Sandbox will accept consignment items on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm.
Sandbox's consignment policy is based upon a 60% store/40% consignor split.
We accept baby, kids, and maternity clothing, shoes and accessories. We accept children's clothing (size
newborn to size 12). We also accept books, videos, baby gear, playtime items, gifts and baby/children's furniture.
Clothing should be stylish, "in-season" and in excellent condition (no stains, missing buttons, broken zippers,
fading, pilling, etc...) All items must be freshly laundered or dry cleaned, pressed and on hangars OR neatly
folded in shopping bags (NO GARBAGE BAGS). Clothes that are brought in SOILED, WRINKLED or in a condition not suitable
for resale will be rejected.
Please limit clothing items to one laundry basket/box or two shopping bags per day.
If you have larger items such as pack n plays, strollers, joggers, swings, high chairs, bassinets, changing tables, etc.
please call first to make sure we have space available for your item. If we do not, we will be happy to add it to our
inventory of available items. All we will require is a digital picture which can be emailed to; sandboxsonoma@yahoo.com
We accept most baby furniture, gear, and playtime items. WE DO NOT CONSIGN CRIBS AND CAR SEATS (but
if you would like to create a flyer to advertise your crib/carseat, we would be happy to display it in the store.)
Consigned items are displayed for 60 days. Items may be discounted during the consignment period. After that,
it is the consignors responsibility to pick them up if they would like them back or items will be donated to a local
charity. After 90 days, clothing items become the property of the store.
Sandbox is not liable for the loss of consigned items due to fire, theft, natural disasters or any other unforeseen
circumstances.
Seasonal Calendar:
• Year round clothing (i.e. jeans, light-weight sweaters, sweatshirts, tee shirts) in February and July
• Spring & Summer items accepted March-June
• Fall & Winter items accepted August-January
